Same for all user inside this issue on github : microsoft/vscode-emmet-helper#64
Many people have noticed that your VSCode extension has been deprecated and does not correctly support recent VSCode features such as emmetExtensionsPath.trim. If you could correct this problem, as many people are experiencing it at the moment, and I'm not the only one, please find the issue in the attachment.
People like me who have this problem see it in their EDGE Language Server terminal:
Notification handler 'workspace/didChangeConfiguration' failed with message: emmetExtensionsPath.trim is not a function
