Ardunio isnt sending data to unity

Whenever I run my scene it prints "Device Connected" and then nothing else. I have uploaded the code you provided in the Setup guide to my arduino board so I think theres supposed to be output in the console. I dont know if this is of note but everytime i run the unity scene I have to close my Arduino IDE becuase otherwise it says "Access denied."
