Shall we extend the format to cover reconstructed data?

Currently the Lidaco format / tool supports line-of-sight data.
The ability to output data from reconstructed wind fields in a common data format has been identified as a major enabler for the digitalisation of wind lidar and its inclusion in digitalised wind energy.
Can Lidaco be extended to support "reconstructed" wind fields, e.g. the results from a DBS scan, or 10-minute data?
My current feeling is to represent this as a points cloud of wind vectors with a time stamp. I am not sure what else would be required, and would love to work with you all on this.
