Suggestion: Apply autoscaling without needing to pan

It would be nice if the autoscaling will be already active when loading a scene, not only when you zoom or pan.
With the templates it would also be great if the autoscaling would already take effect when dragging the template not only after you have set it and then still have to zoom or pan.
