whats the state of clippy support?

1.from my understanding, clippy isnt supported by default, am i wrong? (also does clippy add anything more?)

2.if thats the case, how do you set it up?
i've been looking at #183 and #111 for guidance but they seem outdated? (GUI is different, rls.conf being changed doesnt change anything, making ls configuration point to rls.conf or rls.exe doesnt change anything)

im using 1.2.4
