Merging External launch configuration and launch configuration dialogs and menu entries

With launch groups we can combine external launches and "regular" launches. Does the distinction between "internal" and "external" launches still makes sence? As a user I find it unnecessary and especially with launch groups I find it confusing:

I mean the following, rarely used it in my life.

I can't imagine that "Debug" makes sense for these. For the other things, the launcher always appear in both Run and in Debug (and Profile when YourKit is installed.). I do use these things and the separate seems necessary...

@merks a Launch config can declare if it should appear only for one category (or all of them) so I don't see this blocking the approach. This is even mentioned in this tutorial here ;-)
