I know you stated that you would leave this at Version 4 but I really appreciate the output options.

I am building an API and need to object option.

If its at all possible I would greatly appreciate the update.

I added that message before testing ACF's implementation - it is a bit rubbish. I also need the object output in the project that demanded writing the plugin in the first case, so I'll look at how much work is involved to add V5 support when I get chance.
