Option to use Ethernet?

I am trying to capture network traffic on an Android SBC that has WIFI and ethernet. I have the capture working on WIFI but I really need to use the ethernet adapter. There is no option to use the ethernet's IP on the SSH server in the app. Would this be a simple code change? If so could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
