Can't open markdown file

@arthurattwell When I select 'Open Markdown' in the authoring tool I can navigate to the file and select it, but it doesn't open. This is important to get working as each chapter has a template file for authors to start writing into, and they will need to open their saved file each time they continue working on a chapter.
