Question on how to use ext-dfu to program daisy seed

Cannot seem to connect my daisy seed as a valid dfu address via external usb 2.0 through daisy bootloader here are the steps i used

setting up ext dfu:
Plug in via built in usb. Set daisy in ST bootloader by pressing reset and boot, should just be a solid led slightly brighter than before
Run this command in the terminal:
dfu-util -a 0 -s 0x08000000:leave -D ../../libDaisy//core/dsy_bootloader_v6_2-extdfu-2000ms.bin -d ,0483:df11
Run command make program-boot
Then plug in external usb and try to make program-dfu after you have set it into Daisy bootloader mode ie just boot and press boot to enable it to loop indefinitely in bootloader

Currently not working:
Do not have ext dfu discovered.
Not enough clarity here
