Fails to create duplicate if unwritable

jeremypw opened this issue · 0 comments

What Happened?

If a file's write permission is changed during editing then the "Save Duplicate" option of the resulting dialog fails to create a new file in the selected location even though the tab is renamed.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create and open a writable text file
  • Edit it with the "Save changes" option on
  • Remove the write permission of the file
  • Edit some more
  • In the resulting dialiog press "Save Duplicate"
  • Select the same (writable) folder but a different file name
  • No file is created and the tab remains locked but renamed

Expected Behavior

A writable duplicate should be created in the requested location and the tab lock removed.
