v2.1 changes and wishlist

In this issue I'd like to collect all changes for next revision v2.1
Main reason for that are discontinued or hard to find components.
It'd be good to close the changelist by the first week of February.

  • Power section
    Main DC/DC XRP7724ILB-F is discontinued. Before we choose another DC/DC converter, there is a question. Do we need power monitor for power buses? It's hard to find such complex chip with power monitoring and on the board might be not enough space for additional INA3221 chips for monitoring.

  • Clocking
    In general Si571 is discontinued. How about replacing it with: 549BACB001937ABG and get rid of DAC for freq adjustation?

  • Bugs in v2.0 to resolve

    • #156
    • Untie IC70 INT# pin from supply
    • Change LD28 from green to blue
    • IC2 OE# tied to GND instead P3V3
    • Mark as mounted R353, R354, R78, R641, R526, IC12, R150, R154, R155, R165
    • Mark as unmounted R45 & R546
    • Remove IC39
    • Swapped polarity on MGTREFCLK1_226

  • Other

    • CERN request to have:
      • GPIO line connecting MMC and PS MIO to detect a change on the lane in the MMC in case the PS goes in reset due to a watchdog event, to switch the QSPI multiplexer in the correct position.
      • Assembly option to connect uRFB CLKA/B to FMC2_CLK2_BIDIR

I'd go for 4-channel versatile converters from MPM (MPM54304GMN)
They can be paralleled in various ways and by default do need need programming.
