Unable to compile libraries with Xamarin.Studio

The current versions (v 1.1.2 - current as of Feb 4, 2015) of the Portable.Data and Portable.Data.Sqlite libraries are not able to be compiled via Xamarin.Studio. They compile fine with Visual Studio 2013 - including (I believe) the free Community Edition (do a google-bing search for "Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition") - but are not able to be compiled with Xamarin.Studio. It is my current plan that the next major revision of the libraries will be compile-able with the current versions of Visual Studio and Xamarin.Studio (probably supported on Mac version of X.S only).
