Vehicle part material baking oddity

I've noticed recently that the some paint regions of the vehicle part models I've been creating appear black when viewed outside the editor from a great distance. Upon further inspection, the compiled states in my models are quite different from those found in vanilla vehicle part models. Attempting to alter the compiled states in my models yielded partial success...while also introducing numerous crashes and other odd behaviours. I'll send you an affected blender project and exported rw4 model via Discord DMs as soon as I've submitted this Issue post.
