[request] downloading subs and video from youtoube

It would be nice to provide link to youtube video and languages, and substudy would download it with subs and create anki deck out of it.
Maybe it should be created on top of substudy? What do you think?
Unfortunately, downloading video and subtitles from YouTube is technically challenging and undocumented. And it also raises possible copyright and TOS issues I'd just as soon avoid.
But if there are popular YouTube download tools with subtitle support (either from Google or from third parties), I'd be willing to consider supporting the downloaded video and subtitle formats. There's enough public domain content on YouTube to be useful to language learners (you only need about 5 hours worth of interesting content for a given language), and the makers and users of download tools may have worked out the legalities, etc.
Legal issues and technical complexity are real problems. I guess quick dirty app on top of the substudy would be a good solution for someone who is considering adding youtube downloading. Issue ready to close I guess.
