Compatibility with Thunderbird 68.* + 78.*

Having been used to Outlook's built-in PDF preview for years, before moving back to Thunderbird last year, I've stumbled upon your extension that adds this handy feature to the program. Unfortunately, your PDF extension only works with Thunderbird 60.* according to TB's extension website, and not with the current TB 68.* or the upcoming 78.* releases. Is there a chance to adapt the existing extension to (one of) these TB versions, and if so, how much work would it be? I would gladly contribute some monetary support, if that would be the case. The same goes for keeping the "PDF.js" in use up to date with the upstream repo, since it hasn't been updated either after the initial release of your add-on.

The popular add-on "Thunderbird Conversations" is allegedly able to provide this feature too, as I've read, it is not an option for me though, since it can't be used for this purpose alone. The public "Thunderbird 78+ roadmap" says nothing about plans for a natively built-in PDF preview, so this extension most likely will have its purpose for an extended period of time.

I've seen now in Thunderbird 81.0beta's changelog - to my pleasant surprise - that it introduces a native "pdf.js" implementation, therefore porting/updating your extension would be unnecessary, since it's going to become obsolete eventually.
