Dashboard not showing sessions, connected client. Even API publish is not working

Hi,
I was using EMQX dashboard for EMQX version 3.2.2. I am not sure why but since last week, the connections, sessions page does not show any connected clients. It just says "No Data".
The web API which was working until now is returning a code : 0 for the publish API but the message itself is not getting published to the topic.
I updated it to 3.2.4 just to see if it fixes the issues but no luck.
I am runnning EMQX on an Ubuntu 18.04.
What could be the issue? I tried restarting emqx also.
