Everything is all right, since the Wii and Gamecube can't read DVD-R and
DVD+R/DL on the new drive, can it read DVD backups by adding External DVD Drive
by plug on Wii USB port 1 or 2. And by the way, I didn't mean put Defect, it
suppose to be Enhancement because i couldn't find the template.

I just made the picture up on below on the box, it just the thought. It means
it can read and rip GameCube and Wii Original and Backup DVD-R/+R Disc from
External USB DVD to External USB Devices (like USB HDD, USB Flash, and USB
devices) to Wii and vWii U by plugging USB ports on Wii or vWii on Wii u. And
It also mean it can rip disc from External USB DVD to Front End SD card instead
using the PC Desktop and Laptop.

I found the codes from WiiMC external DVD so it might help you. I'm sure its
gonna work or not but you can try to added and modified it. Like the picture
you see on the top, if you have GameCube and Wii original/retail games, you
have to use LG external DVD drive with appropriate code (GDR-8082N) on it.
