from incident 28/8: An news document had been set up with initially custom date 12:11 but was showing an error (unknown),then removed custom date and tried again.

but when published the date was missing and newsletter distribution failed with Error reading parameter timeStamp: 'null' is not a valid integer value

Then date was removed, and checked that it was only a "yellow" message (not red), and then the publishing happened - didn't press publish after removing the date, it was published (as a result of the first publish process?)
