Markdown links do not work in PyPI

Links in README.md are relative and point to the examples in the current repository version. Absolute ones would start referring to future commits, so would be incorrect to use. However, generating the long description for PyPI creates broken links. PyPI should really automatically refer to that path in the tagged commit, but as it doesn't this should be fixable through setup.py
