"Go" on selected URL fails to switch to the Firefox window containing the tab for that URL, for some computers

TH version 3.3.0

When I search and click "Go" for a selected URL, the firefox window for the URL briefly appears (too quick to see), but is immediately replaced by the window from which I ran tabhunter. In other words, the window for the "Go" URL is just behind the window where I ran the TH search. Happens 100%, except when I run TH in the same Window that contains the tab for the URL I have selected. Super annoying.

I run tabhunter on multiple systems, 3 Windows, two Mac. It has been happening on one system for many months - maybe a year? I just now it started happening on a second Windows 10 system, which is a new PC for me, so the profile is started from scratch just two weeks ago.

(The only thing in error console is mentioned in issue 115. But I get that every time I click go.)

TH permissions

Which version(s) of macOS are you running? Are there different behaviours on the different systems?
How many virtual screens do you typically use?

As for Windows, I'll need to test that on a VM.

I failed to mention, it has never happened on either of the Macs, one 10.15, the other 11.x (I no longer have it as of a week ago)

Both Windows systems are win10. AFAIK only one desktop on each.

But something must be triggering it

Does the '%' search in the address bar move to a tab in another window?

search in address bar works fine - it goes to the correct tab, in a different
window if needed.

So I need to read the firefox code to see what they're doing (and I really don't have time to do this right now -- maybe someone else can step up).

Changed issue description, to clarify that this only happens on SOME computers.

I did some further checking of my profiles where this fails. So far I didn't find any Firefox or tabhunter preference to be causing this.

Created a new profile on my work PC and the problem reproduces. Disabled all addons except TH and problem reproduces. Firefox 94.0.2
