Login session does not persist on mobile device

As a user it is quite annoying to have to login every time I open the site. Would it be possible for the session to persist? And I'm talking about the weak login only here.
I'm using Chrome on my phone and added the site to my home screen. I have Android version 12 and Chrome version 124.0.6367.113.

Thank you for the input. We understand your point about the login session being too short. The current 30min mobile web application session duration is based on general security guidelines. Your feedback has been duly noted.
