Commercial Timing

I have EyETV setup to record (Comskip compacts auto) and export to iTunes 
automatically and it all work.

The problem that I have is that ETVComskip doesn't always do a great job of 
marking the actual start and finish of the commercial. It messes up the show 
when the action scene is cut and the commercial plays even when they're not 
supposed to play.

Is there a way to adjust the commercial threshold sensitivity?
