Etv Comskip Not Working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launching etv-comskip
2. Pulls up the record content in terminal but it states "skipping"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like etv-comskip to mark the commericals.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
Mac OS leopard 10.6.8 Eye Tv 3.5.4
Please provide any additional information below.
Can someone provide me with the terminal command to mark the commericals?
