Bring back ETF 1.6 demo compatibility

Due to some changes made in bg_ space 1.6 demos are not playable anymore.
I don't think its a great idea to make 1.6 and 2.0+ compatible for playing because what's the point then of the fixes. Everyone will upgrade eventually when release is available, but old demos should play.
