In a similar program , this is an feature
If you can build it in Openscan , the scans would be better because the camera has the right angle to the document

Could you please elaborate on the idea and reopen the issue?

In the similar program there is a spiritlevel visible in the image when taking a scan/photo.
This makes the camera straight in relation to the object to be scanned , which in itself is going to give a better scan.
