What happened?

I think it would be very valuable to have backlinks within the EIP site (per EIP page).
I looked at it and currently use github action + jekyll. but this is not something I am good at, but I believe adding backlinks is not complicated and very valuable.

This would be trivial with #6518, as it has automatic backlink support.
