#CharacterCountdown
jQuery plugin to countdown characters remaining that can be inserted in a text field. Useful for fields with character limits such as Twitter status updates.
##Usage
This is a very simple plugin. All you need to do is include the plugin file in your HTML then initialize the elements and the JS:

});You can optionally pass in the charLimit, charsRemainingText, preventExcessChars parameters.
- charLimit defaults to 250 - the amount of characters allowed.
- charsRemainingText defaults to '' - you can optionally set this to include some text after the count such as "250 characters remaining".
- preventExcessChars defaults to false - you can forcibly trim excess characters from the end of the input by setting this parameter to true.
