Reference language translation cut off on some screen sizes

Describe the bug
On some screen sizes, seemingly especially on mobile, the text in the reference language field is cut off with no visual indication of it being hidden (like a scroll bar or ellipses).

Selecting the field and navigating around it using the arrow keys makes the rest of the text visible.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to a translation with very long text
  2. Set the reference language to a translated one
  3. See error

Expected behavior
The box should automatically have the correct size to be able to display all of the text, or a scroll bar should appear next to the text box.
