Tiles are rendering the wrong positions

Hi, i dont know if this project is still even being maintained, but im having an issue with my project where anytime i place down a tile it doesnt render correctly... ive pratically copy and pasted the demo project so i have no clue why this is happening???
if you could help this would really be appreciated...

Update: i've found that the problem is it's seeming to not like when tiles are stacked? i've laid them all out in a straight horizontal line, and it works perfectly.

Update 2: backporting to 1.3 of the parser seems to work perfectly. this definitely has to be an issue with something that was changed in 1.4.
