Are there any schemas for tags containing multiple <nuds>?

I would like to store >1 coin in an XML file.
If I put two <nuds> in a document with this schema, the document is not well formed, as it contains multiple root elements.
What is the recommended way to describe an entire collection or die study in a single document?
