Search box on Edge docs not working

Previously, typing while on the API Documentation page would begin filling in the search box at the top. This functionality no longer works on the Edge documentation

browsers: Chrome 57.0.2987.133, Firefox 53.0.2

Note: the search box still works on the latest stable documentation page (currently 0.10.0).

Update: the search box does not appear to be working on the "latest stable" page anymore, either. The page is throwing an error:

The 0.10.0 documentation search box still works.
