Won't record Display Capture if Recording Mode is set to anything other than Always

Help, I have trialled and errored and I can't seem to find a fix to this,

I make sure the Source record is on, and recording mode is recording, but when I start to record it records the Scene I get the same output file twice and not the other scene, however when I select it to always it works and records both different scenes.
