Alternative proposal to increase the integrity of the web environment

According to a blog post from the guy deleting issues raising legitimate issues here, one way to write a constructive criticism is to suggest alternative proposals, so here goes mine:

Instead of bolting DRM onto web browsers, maybe the web would have more integrity if we were to get rid of the browser hegemony, since having an ad company known for defrauding advertisers be in charge of the most used browser is not an conducive environment that allows for much integrity.
