Using @expo/vector-icons with native base

Native-base v3 needs expo/vector-icons to make it most compatible with v3, but as we use @expo/vector-icon, this error is thrown
error: Error: Unable to resolve module expo-font from /Users/**/Documents/folderName/node_modules/@expo/vector-icons/build/createIconSet.js: expo-font could not be found within the project or in these directories:
