As admin searching for users does not work

Describe the bug
I can't enter a search term in the search field, it gets intterupted.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. as an admin go to the admin / user section
2. search for a user

Expected behavior
I'm able to enter a search term without losing focus on the field and find the user
