Installed GINGERBREAD-DS-Beta-20110716.zip.
During setup no data connection besides wifi was available.
I had to enter the apn info manually afterwards.

Till now all roms I tested supplied apn's.

  1. The setup wizard allows manual entry of APNs
  2. The rom has APNs (all the ones from AOSP which appear to be more than T-Mobile US .. but is limited to various T-Mobile APNs)
  3. Many roms beside those for your carrier and CM that has a just shy of 200k xml file with those from all over the world.. that is read once per fresh install will not have your carriers APN (whom ever your carrier may be)

Also this topic was on XDA including an update.zip to install that 200k xml if you really want it.

This is not a bug.. and the feature request can be requested better.. and I'm looking into a better solution for implementing this feature.
