if no internet located at boot system won't run

system won't run if no wifi connection present at boot, this prevents programs, schedules from running.
I believe I will have to add a battery to the system as a long term solution to keep time without the internet and as a short term solution I will add a external RCT clock and have the wifi connection not mandatory for system initialization.
