Custom build not working in Firefox

The status indicator works, but once it reaches 'Downloading and preparing files: 100% complete', the download does not start. No errors in any network requests or JS.
'Block dangerous downloads' is enabled in the settings, as is default in FF.
Tried both on FF68 and Dev edition. No extensions installed.
Works fine on Chrome latest and Canary on my machine.

if you disable block dangerous downloads does it works?
