Requests: Simple night mode & static color

Hey there!
I was experimenting with some arduino-ambilight-stuff by myself and could get some nice results, but then I came across your fork of Bambilight and I have to say: great work, mate! Everything works as intended, it is smooth and clear, runs stable (so far) and it's also very efficient (the biggest problem of my own work).
My own software is currently offering two features that I would like to see in your project aswell (because I will continue using yours :-D):

  1. Night mode. You already implemented a night mode, but this only works together with the windows 10 night mode. Since I am preferring f.lux over windows 10 night mode, I would like to see support for f.lux...or, the lazy but still good working way: just add support for enabling night mode depending on the time of day. E.g. automatically change the color temperature as it is getting late in the evening. Of course as an another option for night light mode.
  2. I like having some background light behind my screen, but I don't always want it to react to my screen. E.g. while working, a simple white background is better than actual ambilight. Please add an option to simply turn on a static white color. Also, the color temperature should be selectable (white 2000-6500k).

Greetings from the Sauerland!

Any updates on this? I'm maybe able to do this on my own. How does the adrilight program sends out data to the arduino?
You could basically define a static mode, which only update the color if it's get a new value from the computer.
