Do the interviews over the phone. Youā€™ll need to identify places your potential users go online (facebook group, reddit, meetup groups, etc) and (with permission) post a ā€˜calloutā€™ simply explaining: who you would like to speak to, why (i.e. what youā€™re working on), and your contact details for those interested to get in touch to arrange a time. Iā€™d recommend going for short interviews (20 mins) and aiming to speak to 3-4 people.

Hey! My name is Kristina Jaggard. I am a student at Founders & Coders, a London-based program that provides tuition-free, peer-led web development courses for women, people of color, LTGBQI+ individuals and other under-represented groups in technology.

I am currently working on a project which is an online platform that is designed as a resource for political organisation. The idea is basically to provide a web / mobile application that can be used by activists, charities, NGOs to share information about events, rallies, lectures, et cetera. Users will be able to follow certain movements and be updated when events relevant to their interests are posted. The idea is to create a platform that engages a wider base of individuals and aids in garnering support for organisations involved in activism.

As part of my planning for this project, I am conducting some user research to see what types of features would be especially needed in this type of application. If you have time to have a short chat on the phone (no longer than 20 minutes) on Tuesday January 8 between 1-4pm - please let me know! You can contact me here or via email at jaggardk@gmail.com

Thank you for your time
