Suggestion: History panel hover info

brian-luff opened this issue · 1 comments

Description

It would be a nice feature to replicate what happens in the tag box when you hover over a feature, but do similar with the history panel while it is activated. When I am panning through the UI, if I can see at a glance the user most recent on a feature it speeds the analysis process. This is my suggestion.

Just a quick followup on this item - I did try this out today, making the History panel work on hover, but it makes the whole container really jumpy.

I'll keep the experiment commented out for now - I'd like to have these panels work better than they currently do.
(Some thoughts on info panel redesign over on #1547 (comment) )
