Had similar problem after running the internal update from 125 to 126 today.
(Updated because i hoped del save from wii memory had been added)
The update saved to a different directory without the meta and icon file
present.
I saw only a about 10 wii memory saves present.
Copied the xml and icon fron the download zip file deleated the old program
directory and the config directory and everything worked again.

I don't think that's possible. I'm using a Wii U. The latest HBC version with
ios58 on the "virtual" wii or whatever they call it. I tried installing cios on
it, but to no avail.
