Trouble building on latest Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

Hello, we are facing an issue building the latest version.
We cloned the repo and built using the following script of commands which worked on previous builds:
autoreconf -i
git submodule init
git submodule update
cp /opt/ADL_SDK/*.h ADL_SDK/
./configure
make
However, the build does not complete. Most likely we have made a mistake in our build process. Any guidance is surely appreciated. And thank you very much for continuing to provide updates!
Compile output:
configure.ac:25: installing './compile'
configure.ac:18: installing './config.guess'
configure.ac:18: installing './config.sub'
configure.ac:23: installing './install-sh'
configure.ac:23: installing './missing'
Makefile.am: installing './depcomp'
