The last commit appears to be from about 1.5 years ago, and the issues and PRs have piled up since then. I checked @fangli and haven't seen recent GitHub activity since then.

Is this project being maintained, or does someone else perhaps have an active fork of it?

https://github.com/k6io/django-saml2-auth was the fork that our org found with more recent updates
