gross can not be compiled under glibc >= 2.10.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install glibc >= 2.10.1
2. Try to compile gross 1.0.1
3. Failure
What is the expected output?
Successful compilation.
What do you see instead?
In file included from utils.c:22:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gross version 1.0.1 on Gentoo Linux 2008.1
Please provide any additional information below.
The function getline in utils.h on line 42
(http://code.google.com/p/gross/source/browse/trunk/include/utils.h#42) is
anyway nowhere used. Removing it solves the issue.
