Instability

Add some analysis tools for instabilities. As I understand, instabilities cause exponential growth (locally), so adding a tool or a script for detecting these in our simulations might prove useful. How to implement this is a harder question.

Note: I am not referring to categorizing instabilities but rather simply detecting locations where we have instabilities.
