More information

Hi

We have a national elections on the 29th of May 2024.
That day has been declared a public holiday in the country.
My application is currently using the jollyday version 0.5.7

Could you please advise on what action to take.

Benny

Hey there @derTobsch

Any ideas on this?

Hi @benny-segwatlhe,

The library you are using is not the same as the Jollyday library you mentioned, as it has a different group ID. The library you are referring to is based on Sven Diedrichsen's version but has since diverged significantly.

You need to change the GAV coordinates to the correct ones. You can find this information in the README under the XML binding libraries section here.

Regarding the Election Day you mentioned, it is not currently supported. I haven't had the time to add it yet. If you'd like, you can add it yourself by editing the following file: Holidays_za.xml.
