scipy repository version

eelsirhc opened this issue · 6 comments

Hi,

The scipy version in the Superpack claims to be 0.13.0 but contains a bug that was fixed 6 months ago in 0.11.X. Which checkout of the scipy repository is this scipy derived from?

Thanks,

Chris.

The current version is 0.13.0.dev-c31f167, which came from the master branch a couple of weeks ago.

The c31f167 changeset (if that number is relevant) is from 6 months ago. It is apparently the same version used to compile the Superpack on March 7th (my oldest version)? Is it possible your scipy repository hasn't updated since then?

I diff'd the scipy-0.13.0.dev_c31f167_20130808-py2.7-macosx-10.8-intel.egg against the scipy/scipy@c31f167 (Feb 24th) repository version and there is no difference. Compared to the latest version (scipy/scipy@3cd80e9) there are a lot of differences.

Wow. Looks like git pull had been commented out of my build script! I will upload an updated build in a moment. I'm amazed that it took so long for someone to notice!

Give the current Superpack a try.

The bug I found in netcdf.py has now gone, and the scipy version numbers have been bumped up to 0.14.0.dev-2a4ba40 .

Thanks for the quick turnaround.

Glad it works. This has been pretty much on autopilot for the past few months, so its good to check back and make sure everything is doing what its supposed to.
