Media Category Management

We successfully use various media category manager plugins within Wordpress, one in particular. With that plugin, after tagging media within the Media Library, when we then insert media into a page or post the pop up window for the media library allows us to filter by media category thus reducing the often enormous task of finding the required image(s) inside the entire media library.

When using FooGallery we can not see the media category manager within the popup media library window where we would normally filter the required media category for our choice of images.

How can we add this union to FooGallery between the insert media pop up and the media category manager plugins, or can the good people at FooPlugins make this available as a feature?
